Gilbert-Ross Lab

This website design and build project was for the Gilbert-Ross Lab of Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute. The good folks at the lab study lung cancer cells and Drosophila (fruit fly) cell specimens using fluorescent and high-resolution imaging. The project took an outdated Wix site and rebuilt it on Squarespace to create an accessible and appealing new website that showcases all the great research the Lab does.

Max created a new information organization structure, imbedded mp4 videos, and updated publications and lab news. Max also hired a writer to create web copy for the site, prioritizing user experience by making scientific language accessible to the lay reader. Also! Max whipped up a logo to match the new site as well.
